Regenerating Plymouth One Wall At A Time

If you have noticed a small piece of quirky art in an unloved area, or an amazing mural on a wall in Plymouth, then the chances are that it is a P.A.T project!

Plymouth Artists Together has worked since 2020 to produce legal street art and galleries in public spaces all over Plymouth.

We are building on our early successes to offer more opportunities for artists, provide art to the Plymouth community, and to beautify the scars of an old city.

We work with Plymouth City Council, private landlords, local businesses, Coyde Construction, National Grid, BT,  Urban Splash, and the City Centre company. We also work closely with the Probation Service, offering invaluable experiences where the clients can help to clean up and prepare forlorn areas, then return later to see the creative transformations.

Street art fills Plymouth's neglected spaces

Awesome and colourful street art is appearing all across Plymouth

“Mike Vosper, co-ordinator of Plymouth's Artists Together wants amazing artwork to brighten-up neglected and 'unloved' buildings and neglected parts of Plymouth.”

Street artists create striking mural with a vital message

“A bare wall in Stonehouse has been transformed into a vivid and colourful piece of street art – with an important message.

The Plymouth Samaritans branch is always keen to connect with people and the vibrant artist Jessie Wellington was commissioned to take on a monumental task with her own superbly refined and creative artistic skills and talent.”

The art that I saw in Plymouth is of equal quality to street art that I’ve seen in some of Europe’s major street art cities – London, Lisbon, Madrid, Rome and Berlin.

Graffiti Lessons in Plymouth

PAT has partnered up with Prime Skatepark to provide a safe space for all those who have fancied having a go a Graffiti art!

We have two outside areas of different sizes for lessons.

The great thing about using prime Skatepark is the boards are only used for beginners so there is no concern about going over nice Graffiti pieces done by the more experienced writers on the three legal areas in Plymouth.

We have had a number of people take up this opportunity from schools as part of their art lessons, a fun birthday activity for a Mum and Daughter, a birthday treat for various children, and a chance to use spray cans for a lady who normally paints with brushes and on small canvas.
